Quizzi Manager

One day a good friend of mine and me had the idea to create a webbased quiz game. Therefore we needed questions and answers and a lot of them. So we both created programmes that “took part” in existing quizzes to collect the questions that were asked there.
At that time I liked to play a quiz with my friends in an IRC channel where we challenged each other and had a lot of fun doing so. So I created the Quizzi Manager that sniffed the incoming TCP/IP packets, parsed these for questions and answers, saved them in a file and displayed them in a dialogue. An addition I just did to tease my friends was the “Tutor”. It could be enabled by pressing the question mark at the top left corner. When running, the Tutor was constantly waiting for an incoming question and if the answer was already available, it copied it to the clipboard and I could instantly answer the question by just pressing Ctrl-V. ![]()
